Honeyside is one of only two Skyrim player homes with an external portion considered part of the wider open world, rather than part of Riften itself, meaning the balcony can be used to escape bounties in the city. The house's garden produces alchemy ingredients and food, as do the two fish barrels on the porch, and Honeyside even has a thief cache barrel for members of Skyrim's Thieves Guild.
Its aesthetically pleasing, wood cabin look doesn't hurt, either. Hjerim in Windhelm isn't the cheapest house in Skyrim , but it's well located, has lots of storage space including a large armory , and comes complete with an enchanting table and alchemy table. It's also located near an alchemist shop, a smelter, and a Thieves Guild fence.
Hjerim even has a secret room, though it's poorly lit and doesn't have much storage, and the house requires players to complete several quests before they're able to obtain it. While Proudspire Manor is the most expensive house in Skyrim - and costs even more to upgrade - it's also one of the best. I've played a bit of the new expansion.
Here are ten things you should know about it. This is a similar process to buying a house in Skyrim : you can do it when you become Thane of a city, which happens when you help out that city's Jarl and do some quests for them and whatnot. It appears you can only buy land from three cities: Falkreath, Dawnstar, and Morthal. Not your father's Xbox controller Brush up on your driving skills in Forza Horizon 5 with the controller the pros use. Just get on the Jarls good side, and you should get word from him about purchasing land.
The letter only comes to you if your already Jarl of a hold before loading the DLC, however ive only been given one for Falkreath on my most completed file. Id assume its just to give you a sense on how to purchase land, or that its an option, just to give people a head start.
User Info: JoeyRevolver1. I have only been able to buy 2 of them so far. I have found that you need to be a thane to get them to offer you the plots.
Just start helping people in all 3 places and hopefully you will get offered all 3. User Info: Ron User Info: Xernor. Sign Up for free or Log In if you already have an account to be able to ask and answer questions.
Posted by DeiMartez on 22 Jan 13 at I could kiss you, but my fiancee would not be too happy. Thank you so much. Even the game's wikia did not mention the bug. Time to go get his mead. Posted by LuckyKant on 07 Jan 15 at You dont need to build the Houses, just buy the land. After you bought the 3nd one, you get the Achievement. Just a heads up for anyone else who got screwed like I did.
FreakOfTheAbyss: Did you kill the steward as part of the quest you did? I think you may be able to choose not to kill him, but if you killed him there is no way to get the land.
